TALES from the FRONT PORCH
Ringgold County's Oral Legend & Memories Project

According to legend, this large cottonwood that stood at the corner of Union, Adams, Taylor, and Ringgold Counties
was once a surveyor's stake that took root. The tree was removed when Highway 25 was re-paved in the 1970's.
