On October 18, 2998 (sic), the descendants of Oscar and Arbie GARLAND met at the Tingley community building for their annual family reunion. There were 55 people attending. Darl FERGUSON gave the blessing before the potluck dinner.

Those attending were Dean and Lucy GARLAND, Dennis and Paula GARLAND, Sandy GARLAND, Sue VIVONE, Hale and Noah CHRISTIANSON, Vicki, Carmen and Henry, Zizzy, Ryan, Jen, Logan and Moren GARLAND and LeRoy and Louise ALEXANDER, all of the Des Moines area;

Hugh and Tonya FERGUSON, Adam and Tarla PRICE and Taylor, Theda and Hugh GAGE of Warsaw, IL;

Mike and Diana LECHENBERGER and Chris, Rachel, Aaron and Tyler GEDERS of Omaha, NE;

Doug and Shauna FERGUSON, Logan, Antonige and Anthony of Kansas City, KS; Becky GORDON of Fayette, MO;

Greg and Rhonda FERGUSON and Dustin and Sarah FANKHAUSER of Oltahe, KS;

Garland Anne FEGRUSON and Dick and Gay Lou LECHTENBERER of Creston;

Gay and Connie FERGUSON of Baxter;

Greg and Rosemary SHARP and Roger MORRISON of Mount Ayr; Rich and Lori MERCER of Kellerton; and Tony and Ashley MERCER, John MORRISON and Donna MORRISON of Tingley.

Tony and Ashley invited everyone to their home to see the remodeling that has been done. This was the home of Tony's grandmother, where the FERGUSON children were raised.

Several enjoyed shopping at "Treasures" antique shop before departing for home.
