Golden Wedding.
A large number of old friends of Isaac and Sarah Gutridge attended their Golden wedding anniversary last Friday. The celebration was held at
the home of their daughter Mrs. J. E. Dicks, one mile and a half south west of Anthon. The guests were all met at the train with carriages and a most delightful day spent. The dinner is reported to be the finest and most bountiful ever spread. Two elegant rocking chairs were taken down from Correctionville and presented to this aged couple. They also received numerous other gifts.

Those in attendance were: Frank Cooper and wife, J. B. Gutridge and family, Peter Frahm and wife, Jens Pederson and family, James Landon and family, H. Smithwick and family, John Todd and wife, D. H. Robbins and wife, Wm. Hansen, and Mrs. Cortensen of Correctionville; A. J. Whisman and wife and Hazel Peterson of Washta; Mrs. Tom Leasley and daughter, Earl Gutridge, Lawrence Gutridge and children of Moville; Bert Hill and wife, W. H. Miller and Robert Fachet of Anthon. There were seventeen grand children present.

Mr. and Mrs. Gutridge received many congratulations and good wishes from their hosts of friends.
