OBITUARY.
Miss Hattie Kellogg, daughter of the late Dr. W. D. Kellogg, died on Friday last, March 26th, at her home in Milwaukee after a short illness. Miss Kellogg was preparing to come to Decorah to live, she and Mrs. W. D. Kellogg having arranged to occupy the latter’s home. As her illness was unknown locally news of her death came as a shock. The deceased was born May 18th, 1960, in Canada West, and came to this country with her parents in babyhood. When a young lady she moved to Milwaukee where she has since resided. The remains were brought to Decorah Sunday morning by Wm. Kellogg, of Mukwonago, Wis. Services were held in the afternoon at the Willis & Ness undertaking rooms, Rev. M. Willett officiating, and interment was made at Freeport beside other m mbers of the family. Beside her brother Will, two other brothers survive—Charles of McIntyre and Vincent of Dallas Center.

The remains of Hattie Kellogg, who passed away at her home in Milwaukee from heart failure, were brought here for burial last Sunday afternoon, Rev. M. Willett of the Congregational church officiating. The remains were accompanied to their last resting place by Wm. Kellogg of Milwaukee, Mrs. W. Kellogg and Mr. and Mrs. F. Ziegelmeyer of Decorah.
