Died.
Mrs. W. T. Stevens passed away on Tuesday evening, March 23rd, at the home of her daughter in Decorah, Mrs. Chas. E. McKinney. The cause of death was an enlarged tumor from which she had been ailing for some time, but was not seriously affected until about two months ago. Mrs. Stevens was from Lenore, Minn., where she married Mr. Stevens. Only one child was born to this union, Mrs. McKinney. Mr. Stevens died about nine months ago, since which time Mrs. Stevens continued to make her home in Decorah. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at the house, Rev. M. Willett officiating. Mrs. Stevens was a woman of the most kindly disposition, a good mother, a helpful neighbor, and much respected by all who knew her.
