(August 12, 1923 - April 1, 2002)

Richard Harold Bunch, 78, of Indianola died of complications of Parkinson's disease Monday at Westview Care Center there. The body was cremated, and memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date.

Mr. Bunch ws born in Pleasantville and had lived there as a youth. He had lived in Indianola most of his life. He was an engineer in loss prevention and had worked in plumbing and heating before retiring. He was an Army Veteran and a member of First United Methodist Church, American Legion and Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley, a son, David of Indianola; a daughter, Barbara DelBene of Chicago; a sister, Pauline Williams of Pleasantville; and four grandchildren.
