Wondering if there is any contact information for anyone for this query group. My husband is a descendant of Jesse Hunter son of Jane Smart Hunter. His "father" was Maxfield Hunter but there is a rumor that he was adopted and his bio father is actually a John Allen. I am trying to prove/disprove this theory through DNA. I'd love to prove the rumor wrong as Maxfield has been passed down through the family and my last name is Hunter ;)
