I haven't been able to find Darius' place of death but would really like to know what happened to his or where he died. The family was in Wapello Co. in the 1850 census, then Appanoose in 1860 - can't find anything for them in 1870 but Antonette is widowed by the 1880 census living in Davis Co. Iowa then in the 1885 & 1895 census record she's in Monona Co. That makes me wonder why and how she ended up in Louisa Co. and died there.

I can't find any information as to what happened to several of their children: Alfred, dob abt. 1848, Alvin, dob abt. 1856, Alex, dob abt. 1860 and Emmett, dob 1866.
Such a mystery, but I am hopeful some new information will show up for the family member's lost to time.

I've seen their last name spelled Kelly as well as Kelley.
