FOUND DEAD IN BED W.F. LEWIS formerly a resident o this dity was found dead in bed at his home near Butler at 9 0'clock Sunday night, The deceased resided in this city three or fours years, being employed as a driver for the F. A. Tisdale Co. He moved with his family to a farm near Butler about a year ago and has since resided there. Sunday morning he was taken sick and remained in bed all day, although it was thought not that his illness was serious. He was seen a short time before his death and seemed to be no worse than he had been all day. A few minutes later it was found that he had expired. Yesterday the coroner's jury found that he came to his death from natural causes. The funeral services will be held at the family residence tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock. The interment will be made in the Fremont cemetery. G.A. Pitts of this city, financier of the Ottumwa Lodge No 227 A. O .U. W. of which the deceased was a member in good standing will attend the funeral.
