Woodhouses in Eldon

My husband's family were in Eldon, Wapello Co, IA the last decade of the 1800s. It is there that Grandpa and his siblings were born. We are pretty sure, but cannot prove that Falconer (Falcon) ran a hardware store in Eldon. We KNOW they were there. We KNOW there were some births there. We are just curious to know what sort of information and/or documents may remain in Wapello County, esp. Eldon. The Family name was Woodhouse. Falcon and Ellen (Nye) Woodhouse. Can someone tell me what is there about our family?
