Clark's pension file that he filed August 25th, 1892 from his service in the Black Hawk War. I don't have anything on his Civil War service. He enlisted at Nauvoo, IL and served with his father Johnson Clark Sr. and his sister Rebecca's husband Samuel Goodwin. They served from July 16th, 1832 until September 5th, 1832 in James White's Illinois Volunteer unit. He was a private and there's no indication on any medals. I'm descended from Rebecca and am interested in any information on his father Johnson Clark Sr. I have some information, but documented evidence beyond his marriage to Elizabeth Harris in Ohio is pretty scarce.
