I am desperately looking for information on my gggreat grandparents. They both lived in the Wapello area since about 1856. I was hoping they might have an obit in the paper that would give me more information on their lives and especially the parents of my gggreat grandfather. This is the information that I have: James (H?) Taylor b. 1820 died on Dec 11, 1895 in Wapello County. Starling (Nuckles) Taylor b. 1826 died in Wapello County on June 30, 1901. They are both buried at Mars Hill Cemetery.

This won't help with the search but their son, James Howard Taylor married 1st Mary Heckart (from Ormanville) and 2nd Mary Post (from Wapello Co.). James and Mary are my ggreat grandparents but Mary died when my great grandfather was just 2 years old and Mary Post raised him as if he was her own.
