Bill,
Sorry to be so late in responding to your information. My G. Grandmother Agnes Hoy died about 1871 and it very possible that Adam did remarry to R.J.Dawson. I have no information on that at all and I do not know where my G. Grandmother is buried. Adam should be buried in Mc Intire cemetery. J.M.Moore Married on 18 Jun 1883 woulkd be right for my Grandparents. The J.M.Moore married to Amy Moore on 18 Jun 1913 may be true but I don't have any information on him from the time he left Mary until he died in Des Moines in 1923. The John M. Moore married Mary E. Locke is his first marriage and the date is good.
Thank you for the information as it filled in quite a few blank spaces. Do you have any suggestions on how I can find more information on Adam(s)Hoy? I found him and family in the Green Township census for 1870 and nothing beyond that.
Can you tell me what township would have been between Ottumwa and Kirksville? Adam lived on a farm in that area supposedly in the 1860-1870 time frame. Thank you again for the information.
