Harold Carl Frieberg, 59, died on his farm near Libertyville.
He was born Nov. 23, 1931, in Fairfield to Carl and Mary LaRue Clark Frieberg.
He was a farmer and antique dealer who lived his entire life in the Batavia and Libertyville communities. He was a member of the Batavia United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; his mother and stepfather, Lee and LaRue Gallup of Fairfield; three sons, John of Burlington, Frank of Lansing, Mich., and Tom of Birmingham; four daughters, Carla Cloud of Rohnert Park, Calif., Cindy and Becky Frieberg, both of Fairfield and Heather Frieberg of Libertyville; two grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Lou Jones of Lees' Summit, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 12, 1991 at 10 a.m. at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, the Rev. Sara Malone officiating.
Burial was in Fell Cemetery in Libertyville. A memorial has been established in his name.
