Anna Niederhuth

Anna Rose Niederhuth, 84, of Stockport Route 1, died at 4:55 p.m. October 27, 1990 at Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua.

She was born June 22, 1906 in Aruh County, Stockach, Switzerland to Konstantin and Rosa Theresia Salber Jaeger. She married Edgar Earl Niederhuth, Sr. on August 19, 1926 in Burlington.

She had lived in the Stockport community for the past 45 years. She was a homemaker and had assisted Earl as a pastor's wife in children's programs and women's activities in the churches he had served. She was affiliated with the Baptist Church and past member of Rebekah Lodge in Stockport.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Barbara Ann Smith of West Burlington and Lois Elaine Keller of Stockport; a son, Edgar Earl Niederhuth, Jr. of Stockport; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a sister, Pauline Wiedermeier of Burlington.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Emily.

Services were held Tuesday, October 30, 1990 at the Stockport Christian Church with the Reverend Ellis Beeman officiating. Burial was in Spencer Cemetery in Stockport.

Behner Funeral Home, Fairfield, was in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Stockport Christian Church.
