In order to progress with your query, I should have more specific information on names of persons, ancestral lines and such to follow.
From a family history on ancestry.com (work done by others, not verified by me) I assume this in the line you are referring to.
Found a Mathias Geelen 1644-1706, he married Margaretha Gritgen Cuijpers (Kuypers) in Klimmen, Limburg, Netherlands. This line evidently refers back to Ulrich Geelen 1620-1700 and Catharina Lenssen, and another generation back to Adam Geelen and Anna Roichs- he died 1631. This line goes further back in this history to Henricus Geelen, Michael Geelen and Martinus Geelen 1520 Kempen.
