Dennis: Did a little checking and Frank appears just once in the Hawarden Centennial History book of 1987. Page 384 He was a member of the Dale Lodge#156 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. He was a Senior Steward. So this places him in Sioux County IA.
Further I found that he was listed in the 1885 IA state census 33 yrs born in OH livingin Buncombe township. In 1895 he was living in Sioux County in Eagle township, he was 43 yrs born in OH. He was not listed in the 1900 census. So he must have moved to another location. I have no idea where he may have died at this point.
If you can find his children and where they lived and died you may be able to find him too.
