I am tell you that Heritage Micro film is having a hen of a time with servers crashing, losing data, putting up a new server and etc. I too experience a lot of the same problems. Keep contacting them and letting then know what the problem is or still is, that is about all I know what you can do. You shouldn't have to pay for the site...yet that is.
