In addition to farming, he was employed by the U. S. Postal Service as a clerk for 20 years before retiring in 2021.
Hobbies/Interests: Loved sports, coaching baseball, and playing basketball, golf, softball and baseball; fan of the Green Bay Packers, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Loved that picnics and parties were always family events.
