Carl E. Rohr, 97, of Grinnell, died on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Grinnell Health Care Center.
A celebration of his life will be held 10 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell. Interment will be at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at the Smith Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m.
Memorials may be designated to Grinnell Regional Medical Center. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.smithfh.com.
Carl is survived by two children, Gerald Rohr of Anamosa, Iowa and Gene Rohr of Grinnell; five grandchildren, Gary, Richard, and Thomas of Colorado, and Theron and Francesca of California; five great-grandchildren, Sarah, Jonathan (Jack), Dylan and Anneliese of Colorado and Nico Retsky of California; and one brother, John Rohr of Schaumburg. Illinois.
