BAIRD-GRIFFIN MARRIAGE
THANKSGIVING DAY.

Joe E. Baird, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Baird of this city, and Miss Tonnie Griffin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Griffin of Malcom, were married at 11 o'clock Thanksgiving day, November 28, at the Methodist parsonage, the Rev J. H. Krenmyre, pastor, performing the ceremony. The parents of the groom attended them.

Mr. Baird attended the Montezuma schools and for the past several years, has farmed with his father. The bride was graduated from the Malcom high school. Both have many friends who extend best wishes and congratulations. They expect to make their home for a time with his parents.

Immediately after the ceremony they left for Mason City for a short wedding trip, returning Monday.
