husband's elusive great grandfather

Am searching for any information on Leslie Perry.I found his name in an obituary for Gertrude Mann Meyer. The last record of Leslie that we have is in the Wisconsin Census of 1900. My husband's grandmother was abandoned by her parents as a small child and no more information is known about the family. Leslie was born about 1878. Any information would be greatly appreciate3d.
