November 29, 1925EMMETBURG STAR
Up at E Burg by the Sea, as the Emmetsburg boys at Iowa used to say several years ago, there is a young lad who has been burning them up on the football field. His name is Monk Jensvold and the Scandahoovian athlete has had about the best prep record of any back in the state. His team lost, but one game, to Algona 10 to 7. He has scored 170 points this season. His passing is brilliant and he has run through entire opposing teams for several touchdowns. Throughout northwestern Iowa, he is held as the best in that section. He will undoubtedly make many all state selections. If he doesn’t something is wrong, as they play first class football in that part of the state. They call him the Grange of Iowa in the home town. We’d like to see him on an Iowa team if possible, any state eleven rather than see him starring at Minnesota or Wisconsin, against Iowa.
