A.L. Ormsby Seriously Ill, 1900

Miss Alice Ormsby of Emmetsburg, a student at St. Katherine's hall, received a message from her home yesterday, apprising her of the serious illness of her father, A.L. Ormsby, and requesting her to return at once. Mr. and Mrs. Ormsby were in the city but a few days ago, and at that time he was enjoying perfect health. Mr. Ormsby has many friends in Davenport and it is hoped that his illness will not prove as serious as the message would seem to indicate.
