Last rites for Harry (Jack) Peak, 92, were held at First Church United, West Liberty Dec. 30, 1989, with the Rev. Donald Thompson officiating. Burial was at Oak Ridge cemetery, West Liberty.

Mr. Peak died at the Simpson Memorial Home, West Liberty, Dec. 28.

The son of James and Mary Helen Hall Peak, he was born at Strother, Mo. Jan. 10, 1897 and married Viola Bybee at Paris, Mo. Jan. 2, 1921. He farmed for several years and was a painter and paperhanger.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Duane (Doris) Thomas, West Liberty; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, 2 brothers and a sister.
