(Muscatine county) In the death of William Reeder which occurred Saturday afternoon, Conesville loses one of its oldest residents. His demise followed an illness of several months due to heart trouble. He was 68 years of age and spent practically his entire life in the immediate vicinity of Conesville. He was united in marriage with Miss Rebecca Jane Butcher, 40 years ago, to which union was born nine children. Five daughters and the aged wife survive. The children are Mrs. Minnie Sterling of Conesville; Mrs. Eva Church and Mrs. Jennie Baker of Chicago; Mrs. Bessie Reynolds of Oakdale and Mrs. Nora McKay of Davenport. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Millwood of West Liberty and Miss Nora Reeder of Nebraska, and two brothers, Thomas and John both residing in Nebraska. The funeral was held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Grace Reformed church, Rev. Harvey Butler of Nichols officiating. Interment in Cone cemetery.
