Funeral services for Nellie Christison, 88, Port Charlotte, Fla. and formerly of West Liberty, were held July 30, 1988 at the United Methodist church in West Liberty, with burial in the Oak Ridge cemetery.

Mrs. Christison died July 25 in a nursing home in Port Charlotte.

The daughter of John and Louise Livingston Bridgford, she was born Aug. 11, 1899 in Joy, Ill. She married Roy Christison Aug. 26, 1921 in Durant.

Mrs. Christison was a member of the United Methodist church in West Liberty and a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by 2 sons, Keith, West Liberty and Dale, Port Charlotte; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.
