Funeral services for Mrs. Reuben A. (Myrtle) Smith, 84, were held at Muscatine March 14 with burial in Oak Ridge cemetery, West Liberty. Pallbearers were Lyle, Don and Marvin Beaver, Ralph Pace, Philip Martin and Ronald Barkalow. Sharon Martin was organist and James D. Martin vocalist.

Mrs. Smith died at Muscatine General hospital March 11.

The daughter of Charles H. and Rosamond Longerbeam Beaver, she was born at Tipton March 14, 1902. She married Reuben A. Smith at Davenport Feb. 24, 1925.

She is survived by a brother, Lloyd Beaver, West Liberty and a sister, Elsie Barkalow, Iowa City. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1952 and by 10 brothers and sisters.
