Funeral services for Mrs. John (Grace) Rehbehn, 73, were held at First Church United, West Liberty, April 17 with the Rev. Ralph Farmer officiating. Burial was in North Prairie cemetery. Pallbearers were Eugene and Michael Taylor; Joel, Dale and Eric Kruse; Alan Crooks and James Dennis. Dorothy Mays was organist.
Mrs. Rehbehn died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, April 15.
The daughter of John and Mary Ann Kemptner McCormack, she was born in Muscatine county Sept. 26, 1912. She was married to John Rehbehn Sept. 1, 1929. The couple farmed in Muscatine county for many years and she had assisted her husband in the rural postal route out of West Liberty.
She was active in the Grange, having served in several capacities in both the South Prairie and Pamona Grange. She was active in the Pythian Sisters lodge.
She is survived by her husband; 2 daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Edith) Paustian, Durant and Judyth Chelf, Albuquerque, N.M.; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
