Congratulations on your purchase and restoration endeavor! One source of some historical information on the “Judge” Hotel would be old Mills County newspapers. Here is a link to one of the papers regarding the grand opening in 1901. Just search the papers (you might have to create a free account) for Judge Tubbs Hotel Emerson.
