NORTON, WILCUT

On the 5th August 1896 John Henry NORTON, age 23, married Winnie WILKET (WILCUT), age 19, in Glenwood, Mills County. They moved to Round Lake, MN. By 1900 they were divorced. Family tradition says that Norton, who was a barber, deserted her. Who were his parents? What happened to him?

Any information about John Henry Norton, or his family, would be very much appreciated.
