Hello,

I have in my files a John P. Anderson, b.1857 in Wapello Co, IA, son of Jasper Newton Anderson and nephew of Darius Tipton Anderson. The family members bounced between Mills and Wapello Co., during the time frame you have mentioned. I do not know John's middle name, only that his middle initial is "P". John died Oct 1893 in Grove, Delaware Co., OK. Would like to know what you have on your John Preston Anderson. I do have his ancestors back through PA, KY, and IN, as well as family members who moved to IA.
