September Wedding Announced

At a party given Thursday afternoon to eighteen friends in honor of Miss Leta LaShelle, of Washington, D. C. by Miss Leora Clemens at her home, 204 North Fourth Street, the announcement and approcaching marriage of the hostess to Eldon E. Cole was made by her sister, Mrs. Charles A. Ames.

The guests enjoyed the hour socially after which refreshments were served during which the announcement was made. Each guest was given a bouquet of snap dragons as a favor to which was tied a card bearing the names of Miss Clemens and Mr. Cole and the date Sept. 13.

Miss Clemens is the daughter of Clarissa Clemens; Mr. Cole is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Cole of Taylor Township. He returned in June from overseas service with the Eighty-eight Division in which he served as a Sergeant the wedding will be solemnized in the house of the bride’s mother.
