Larry D. Stafford died January 9 at his home in Vail, AZ. He was born March 5, 1942 in Oskaloosa, IA and lived in Iowa most of his life. He retired from the VA and moved to Arizona in 2005. Survivors include his wife, Glenda, children Molly (Jay), Carey (Jay), Kate (John), Tyson (Heather), Emily (Robbie), Sam (Dannile) and nine grandchildren.

Also a sister and brother in law, Pat and Len Van Lent, mother in law, Delores Stanley, two brothers in law, Doug (Lisa) and Thad (Tiffany) Stanley, sister in law, Pam Owsowitz and uncle Tom Cartwright.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Icil Stafford.

**A special family remembrance--when the young ones or new members of the family received "The Talk" from Larry they knew they were truly loved and accepted.

As he wished, Larry was cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.
