DONALD J. HOIT DIES OF CRASH INJURIES
Iowa City, Iowa -- Arrangements are pending at the Hardin Funeral Home in New Sharon for Donald J. Hoit, 56, a guard at the Veterans Hospital here, who died Wednesday night of injuries suffered in an auto accident near Grinnell, Tuesday.

Hoit was driving a small car which was in a collision with a car driven by Leo McGarry, 44, of near Malcom. The crash occurred at the intersection of Highways 6 and 63. McGarry was not injured.

Born in Kellogg, Iowa, Jan. 10 1909, M. Hoit is survived by a sister, Mrs. Paul Banta, West Des Moines, and a brother, E.R. Hoit, New Sharon.
