Services for Jerry Wilson Cunningham, 61, of St. Charles, who died Saturday April 22, 1989, were held Tuesday, April 25 at St. Charles Parish Church. The Rev. Tom Webster of St. Charles officiated, with interment in the St. Charles Cemetery.

Mr. Cunningham was born July 31, 1927 at Des Moines, the son of Dwight Daniel Cunningham and Violet Reynolds Cunningham. He attended East High School in Des Moines. He married Ruth Casner March 11, 1948 at Des Moines. He was a farmer and supervisor at Frey Manufacturing in Des Moines from 1958 until 1972. He moved to St. Charles in 1958.

He was a member of the Model Lodge No. 315 A.F. & A.M. at St. Charles.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth of St. Charles; sons, Daniel Wilson Cunningham and wife Kathy, of Leon and Jerry Thomas Cunningham and wife, Ramona, of St. Charles; daughter, Linda Ruth McDonald and husband, James, of Mesa, Arizona; mother, Violet Cunningham of St. Charles; six grandchildren; three sisters, Maxine Hursh of Mena, Arkansas; Marilyn Bittner of St. Charles; and Violet Carolyn Huth of Chandler, Arizona; and one brother, Thomas Dwight Cunningham of St. Charles.
