Hi,
I see your problem. I could not find any record of Sarah's death in the material posted on the Louisa Co. site either.

Attempting to brain-storm: Being that Louisa Co. never had a hospital, you might want to check surrounding counties for there are hospitals were located in Washington, Muscatine, Johnson, Henry and Des Moines counties.

I checked the WPA listing and cemetery records for Louisa and Muscatine and Sarah was not listed.

In the 1910 Federal Census her son Homer was 13yrs old. Maybe she went to live with him? There is a Homer Mc Crea b. 6 Jan 1897 and died 5 Apr 1969 in Rock Island, IL.

Another thought is to check real estate records because Sarah seemed to own property. Her home had to be sold when she moved or after she died.

What might be your thoughts?
