Hi Shari,
You mention a Mary Lewin that married James Higbee in 1841.She lived 1822-1895.I am doing some research on John A.Lewin and Salome Clutter,both from Virginia,that immigrated to Ohio in the early 1800's...then to Iowa.They are found in 1850 in Louisa County,Iowa census. Is Mary descended from them? Do you have any information on Marys' parents? I would really appreciate it if you could help on this. Thank you much! deb
