Harvey Reece, an aged gentleman, was found dead in his bed at the Louisa county poor farm Saturday night at midnight. He had retired in his usual health but took suddenly ill during the night and before the attendants know of his critical condition he passed away. Deceased was born in Indiana in 1839 and was 72 years of age. He was a former resident of Washington county, where he owed a valuable farm of late years he had been a resident of Columbus Junction making his home when it suited him with his son, Charles. But lately he asked to enter the county home, where he was taken October 24. His wife was Miss Deliah Reed, who preceded him in death. (unreadable) The funeral was held Monday morning (unreadable) Interment was made in the Kentucky cemetery.
