Mrs. Fred M. Russell died at her home in Jefferson township yesterday afternoon at 1:30, after a lingering illness. She was born in Oquawka, Ill., May 23, 1858, being at the time of her death aged 53 years, 5 months and 8 days. She is survived by her husband, three daughters and one son: Mrs. Fred Berkoff, of Lamoni, Iowa; Mrs. Rob Jacobs, of Paris, Mo.; Mrs. D. T. Wallace, of Jefferson township and John Russell at home. Funeral services will be held from the home tomorrow Friday at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Bennett, pastor of the Christian church. Interment in the Wapello cemetery.
