Conesville- On Friday morning, April 14, 1911, occurred the death of Mrs. Ellis Swank at her home near Muscatine. The remains were brought to Conesville on Saturday morning and taken to the home of her uncle, Lewis Billick and on Sunday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, funeral services were held at the Oakland church of this place. Ella Billick the eldest child of Fremont Billick and wife, was born on a farm near Conesville, October 7, 1882 and had reached the age of 28 years, 6 months and 7 days at the time of her death. She was united in marriage to Ellis Swank about 12 years ago and she leaves to mourn her loss her husband and four children, Hazel age eleven, Merle age nine, Lloyd age four and Lester who is not quite two years of age. She is also survived by two sisters, May and Susie and three brothers, Will, Harrison and Joseph. Her mother died about twelve years ago and her father about a year ago.
