The community of Morning Sun was greatly saddened by the death of Supt. Carl H. Krenmeyer at 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon, death was caused by typhoid fever. Mr. Krenmeyer was born at Farmington, Iowa, February 11, 1882. He was a graduate of Farmington High school. He was married to Rose Breuer at Mt. Pleasant in June, 1907 and graduated from Iowa Wesleyan college in 1908. Mr. Krenmeyer was superintendent of schools at Salem for two years, and held a likewise position in the Morning Sun schools for the past year. Deceased was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and was actively identified with the Sunday school and Epworth league work in that city.

He is survived by his wife and one son, father and services were held at Farmington, Iowa, mother and five sisters. Funeral services Wednesday, April 12, conducted by Rev. J. H. Taylor, of Bonaparte, Iowa, assisted by Rev. Blagg, of Morning Sun. A memorial sermon will be held in the M. E. church at Morning Sun Sunday evening at 7 o'clock.
