Mary Ellen Patterson Bandy was born in Burlington, Iowa, April 11, 1853 and died at Kossuth May 23rd, 1907. Mrs. Bandy was united in marriage to O. A. Bandy March 1st, 1876. One child, now Mrs. Bruce Downer, was born to them. She was a member of the Kossuth Presbyterian church. The funeral was conducted at the home by Rev. S. Ollerenshaw Saturday afternoon and the interment made in Kossuth's beautiful cemetery.
