Looking forward to the exciting upcoming Riverside Cemetery listings and while looking over the list of "lost souls", I saw one who may fit our tree?
Edward Miner, died 2/26/1930 with a note he was 63 yrs and was murdered by his wife. I believe I have seen a similar listing saying he was poisoned?
While doing the Meade and Humphrey lines, we came across a Franklin Judson Miner (1870-1950) who's father was born in Canada. In the 1920 census there is an Edward Miner born c.1866 (correct age) who's father was born in Canada and mother in Ohio. Edward had a wife named Anna born c.1876 in Illinois.
Edward "could" be the son of Nelson Edward Miner (1820-1913)born NY or Canada and wife Matilda Mary Liberty/Liberte (c.1832-1921) born VT. Nelson and Matilda died in Cedar Rapids.
Does anyone know for sure who this 1930 murdered person was, and what parents show for him in an obit or 1925 census (same for the wife)? What happened to the wife? I am sure it was big news in little Olin back then!
