Janis...
Jennie Hunter (1856-1943) and William H. Hunter (1842-1928) are in Row 14 Lot 39 of Massillon Cemetery in Cedar County... not Jones. There is a picture of his headstone in the Iowa Gravestone Photo Project showing he was a Confederate Vet (Virginia) of the Civil War (Co. F. 1st VA Cav Reg)
Though they are buried in Caedar County, they lived in Clinton County at least between 1900-1920
In 1920, at Toronto, Liberty Twp., Clinton Co., IA and owned their home. Did Jennie stay in the home after his death or go live a child? Their son Archie (age 28 single) is with them in the 1920 census.
I would see if volunteers in Clinton and Cedar Counties would do obituary lookups for you.
