Final rites for Donald J. Krall, 69, former Johnson county treasurer, will be held at St. Wenceslaus church, Iowa City, at 10 a.m. today (Nov. 18). Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery. Mr. Krall died at his home Nov. 15.

Born in Newport township, he married Marie Shimitz at Iowa City April 19, 1944. He was a veteran of army service in World War II.

He farmed in Johnson county and was a member of the board of supervisors.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Ken, Sutliff; 2 daughters, Donna Bright, Giard and Ginny Steinbrech, Solon; 2 sisters, Dorothy Foraker and Marion Knowling, both of Iowa City; 3 brothers, Ralph and Joseph, Iowa City and Richard, West Branch and 7 grandchildren.
