Michele Duwa and Steve Phillips, both of Riverside, were married June 22 at the Sharon Center United Methodist Church.
The bride is the daughter of Nancy Duwa of Riverside and Doug and Angie Duwa of Kalona.
The bridegroom is the son of Jim and Marjorie Phillips of North English.
The bride's honor attendant was Angie Heitzman. She also was attended by Angie Duwa and Lori Duwa.
The best man was Leonard Phillips. He also was attended by Oren Phillips and Matt Phillips. The ushers were Bob Grout, Ken Adam and K.C. Wiedenman.
The bride is a 1991 graduate of Mid-Prairie High School and a 1995 graduate of the University of Iowa. She will be a resource teacher in the Clear Creek Amana School District.
The bridegroom is a 1985 graduate of English Valley High School and a 1989 graduate of Hamilton Business College in Cedar Rapids. He is employed by Bucky's IGA in North English.
