The progenitor of the Allenders in Henry Co. appears to be John Allender that was born in Maryland in 1789. I don't show that any of his descendants were named Richard. Nor did he have any brothers named Richard.

There is a Richard B. Allender (1767-1853) that came to JEFFERSON Co. about 1838 from Pennsylvania along with some other relatives. He is buried in the Upper Richwoods cemetery.
