unknown place name in Jefferson County

The death certificate for my distant cousin, Lela Jean Gorrell said she died at a facility named the M.S. of Faifield, rural Liberty, Jefferson County, Missouri. Lela lived 5 miles south of Fairfield before her death. I cannot find anything that tells me what the M. S. of Fairfield was. Is there someone who knows?
