The library in Fairfild may have an obit on microfilm. Either there or the courthouse. Gillogly were early pioneers of Jefferson County. You should have no trouble finding the info you seek.

1856 census has Francis GILLOGLY Liberty TWP; age 4o farmer born OH has 8 people in his home and has been in Iowa for 2 years.
